Jacob Tremblay

Jacob Tremblay (born October 5, 2006 ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Tremblay grew up in Vancouver, Canada . He is the son of a detective inspector. His sisters Emma Tremblay and Erica Tremblay are also active actors.

In 2013 he appeared in the feature film The Smurfs 2 in the role of Blue Winslow . This was followed by some minor roles in television productions and short films. In 2016 he was seen in the horror film Before I Wake . In the same year he took on the role of "Jack" at the side of Brie Larson in Lenny Abrahamson's thriller room , the film adaptation of Emma Donoghue 's novel of the same name . After the film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival , his acting performance received unanimous praise from the critics. He won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Actor for this role and was nominated as the youngest ever nominee for Best Supporting Actor at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards .

2017 Tremblay was Colin Trevorrows film drama The Book of Henry alongside Naomi Watts and Jaeden Lieberher to see. In the same year he took over the role of the Treacher Collins syndrome sufferer August Pullman in wonder who on Raquel J. Palacios 's novel is based. The comedy film Good Boys followed in 2019 , in which he starred alongside Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams . In the same year he spoke the character Damian Wayne alias Robin in an episode of the animated series Harley Quinn .
