Jahreszeiten is the tenth studio album by German songwriter Reinhard Mey . It was published by Intercord in 1980 . All twelve songs were written and composed by him. Wilfried Grünberg took care of the arrangements.

In his tenth studio album, Reinhard Mey once again offers a wide range of themes and moods. The theme song is part of a trilogy that deals with childhood, youth and getting older. Unterwegs is about touring life and takes up the title of his live album of the same name from 1978. Mey criticizes modern art and modern manifestations in many areas of life in The Emperor's New Clothes . He depicts a father torn between work and family in Father's Night Song . Songs like Bei Ilse and Willi auf'm Land ensure the cheerful side .
