Jamie-Lynn Sigler
Jamie-Lynn Sigler (born May 15, 1981 in Queens , New York City , New York ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Meadow Soprano from the HBO series The Sopranos .
life and career
Jamie-Lynn Sigler's father comes from a Greek - Jewish family. Her mother is a Cuban who converted to Judaism . She started singing and acting when she was seven. After a few roles on Broadway plays and a small role in the movie In the Streets of Brooklyn , she was cast in the role of Meadow Soprano , which she held until the end of The Sopranos in 2007.
In the television series Entourage , she appeared in 2008 and 2009 as herself. In Alles Betty! Sigler was a guest for a story arc in the fourth season for several episodes. She also had guest appearances on television series such as How I Met Your Mother and Drop Dead Diva .
From fall 2012 to spring 2013, Sigler starred as Emily in the NBC comedy series Guys with Kids .
Personal
In addition to English , Sigler speaks Greek and Spanish . In 2003 Sigler married her agent at the time, AJ DiScala, and she subsequently appeared under his last name. The two separated in 2005 and the divorce became final in 2006. She then reappeared under her maiden name . While filming The Sopranos, Sigler developed eating disorders and eventually suffered from bulimia . Sigler is committed to educating people about eating diseases.
In January 2013 Sigler got engaged to the baseball professional Cutter Dykstra and had a son with him on August 28, 2013. The couple married in January 2016. Their second son was born in January 2018.
