Jan Fischer (* 1983 in Bremen ) is a German-French author , journalist and essayist .

Life

Fischer grew up between Bremen and Toulouse . He studied creative writing and cultural journalism in Hildesheim , where he gave seminars on ethnographic writing and literature as a performance . He writes prose , essays and journalistic texts. Fischer was head of the cultural policy department at the online children's book portal Librikon , also editor of the online magazine Subpool and wrote for the online magazine lit08 . He has published articles in fluter , Tagesspiegel , Zeit Campus and Spiegel Online .

In 2008 and 2009 he performed together with the authors Marcel Maas , Tilman Strasser and Lino Wirag as the literary boy group "Text, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll". Together with Alexandra Müller , he staged the literary performances “Zum Glück ist das Plastik” (2006) and “How to make a damn good mixtape ” as an author collective “FischMüll aka kubikmeta” . A Homage ”(2007). In 2011 and 2012, Fischer qualified for the finals of the world championships in air guitar playing in Oulu, Finland .
