Janet MacLachlan
Janet MacLachlan (born August 27, 1933 in New York City , New York - † October 11, 2010 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .
Life
MacLachlan received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Hunter College in 1955 and made her Broadway debut in Tiger in 1962 , Tiger Burning Bright .
She made her television debut in 1965 with two appearances in the television series Alfred Hitchcock Shows . In 1967 she played the guest role Charlene Masters in the episode Auf Messers Schneide from Starship Enterprise . A year later, she played Celia Baxter in an episode of the series Invasion of Vega .
In the 1970s she appeared on numerous television series as a guest actress, such as Love Thy Neighbor (1973), Police Story (1974), The Six Million Dollar Man (1975), Wonder Woman (1977) and Friends (1979 ). In the 1980s she had roles in the television series Cagney & Lacey (1982-1987), Quincy (1983), Hill Street Police Station (1984), California Clan (1985) and Murder is Her Hobby (1985-1994). In the 1990s she took part in the series Hör mal, wer da hammert (1995) and Murder One (1996-1997), among others .

MacLachlan died on October 11, 2010 at the age of 77 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. She lived in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles and had a daughter, actress Samantha MacLachlan.
