Jason Snell

Jason H. Snell (* 20th century ) is an American VFX supervisor .

Career

Jason Snell attended California State University, Chico , until 1994 . After moving to Los Angeles, Snell joined Industrial Light & Magic in 1996 . First he was responsible for special effects in the movie Men in Black and later as VFX Supervisor. Under his direction the special effects for Sleepy Hollow , Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clone Warriors and Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Caribbean 2 and their successors were produced. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 2017 Academy Awards for his artistic achievements on Deepwater Horizon . The award went to the team at The Jungle Book .
