The Jeddeloher Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Edewecht in the Ammerland district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG WE 226 is around 50 hectares in size. It has been a nature reserve since February 17, 1996. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Ammerland.
The nature reserve is located southwest of Oldenburg . It provides a high moorland area is part of the once vast Vehnemoor complex in the Hunte-Lada-Moorniederung under protection. A relatively narrow and elongated part near Jeddeloh II has been preserved south of the coastal canal as a drained and peated (manual peat digging and partly industrial peat) but not cultivated raised bog. The area is being renatured by rewetting .
In the west, the nature reserve is bounded by the western receiving water, which drains into the coastal canal at Jeddeloh II. As in the east of the nature reserve, this is followed by agricultural areas .
