Dreibergen is the name of a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon community of Bad Zwischenahn in the Ammerland district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 081 is 2  hectares in size. It is located on the north shore of the Zwischenahner Meer in the village of Dreibergen and protects three hills that are forested with old trees.

At the time the area was protected, it was assumed that the mounds could be prehistoric burial mounds . Later excavations by the archaeologist Dieter Zoller revealed that these were earlier castle mounds on which a castle of the Counts of Elmendorf, Elmendorf Castle , stood in the middle of the 12th century .

The area has been a nature reserve since January 25, 1943. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Ammerland.
