Jeffrey Dale "Jeff" Gross (born September 5, 1986 in Ann Arbor , Michigan ) is a professional American poker player .

Personal

Gross graduated from the University of South Carolina at Columbia . For its Unimannschaft he played four years football in Division I. Gross is married and since 2019 has one son. He lives in Las Vegas .

Poker career

Gross first came into contact with poker during his studies. He plays online under the nicknames kidwhowon ( PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker ) , FantasyMagic (Americas Cardroom) and younGGunJG ( partypoker ) . From July 2017 to February 2019, Gross was a member of Team PokerStars Pro under the nickname JeffGross . He then moved to the partypoker team , to which he has been a member since March 2019. With tournament poker online, he has more than 1.5 million US dollars earned. You can follow his game regularly on the Twitch streaming portal , which Gross has almost 60,000 followers. Since 2007 he has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

Gross was in June 2010 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and came in three tournaments of the variant No-Limit Hold 'em the money. He narrowly missed winning a bracelet at the 2011 WSOP and finished second behind Mark Radoja in a shootout event for just under $ 270,000 in prize money.
