Jeff Roop

Jeffrey Robert "Jeff" Roop (born August 21, 1973 in Montréal , Québec , Canada ) is a Canadian actor .

Live and act

Jeff Roop studied finance at McGill University . During this time he also attended theater courses and appeared on smaller stages. He later attended the theater schools of the Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania .

At the theater he starred in Mr. Pim Passes By ( Mr. Pim Passes By ) by AA Milne . His first television role was in the Springfield Story ( The Guiding Light ); from 1998 he played in other smaller roles, especially in television series . In 2001 he got his first major role in the series Vampire High . In 2006 he played the ice hockey player Frank Mahovlich in Canada Russia '72 . After other minor roles, he played the adventurous Alex in Backcountry - Merciless Wilderness at the side of Missy Peregrym , who is mangled by a bear on a hike.

Jeff Roop is married and has one son.
