Jekaterina Andreevna Bychkova ( Russian Екатерина Андреевна Бычкова , scientific transliteration Ekaterina Andreevna Byčkova ; English spelling Ekaterina Andreevna Bychkova ; born June 5, 1985 in Moscow ) is a former Russian tennis player .
Career
Bychkova played her first professional season at the age of 15. Her first appearance at the ITF Women's Circuit was on September 18, 2000 in Moscow . She celebrated her first ITF title on December 14, 2003 in Cairo .
At the US Open In 2005 Bychkova defeated last year's winner Svetlana Kuznetsova in round one before she was eliminated from Croatia by Ivana Lisjak .
From 2005 to 2012 she played in the German Bundesliga for TC Moers 08 .
Bychkova played her last game on the women's tour in February 2016 when she failed to qualify for an ITF tournament.
