Jennifer Sky
Jennifer Sky (* 13. October 1976 as Jennifer Danielle Wacha in Palm Beach , Florida ) is an American actress .
Life
Jennifer Sky grew up in Jensen Beach, Florida and moved to New York when she was 17 to take acting classes. She can mainly be seen as a guest actress in television series.
She was married to the lead singer of The Calling , Alex Band , from 2004 to 2009 .
Career
In 1994, Sky made her first appearance in front of the camera as Lisa Foxworth on the American sitcom Emerald Cove . In 1996 she played a supporting role in the television movie Our Son, the Matchmaker . In 1997 she was Heidi Barrie in an episode of the series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer in front of the camera, followed by series appearances in Pacific Blue - The Beach Police , General Hospital and Sins of the City . In 1999, Sky played the warrior Amarice in six episodes of the series Xena .
In the series Cleopatra 2525 produced by Sam Raimi , she embodied the title character Cleopatra ("Cleo") in 28 episodes alongside Gina Torres and Victoria Pratt . The series ran from 2000 to 2001 and was discontinued after the second season. In 2001 she was in front of the camera with Daniel von Bargen in Trigger Happy , in the comedy Hard in Love , she can be seen alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black as one of the good-looking dancers in a nightclub.
In 2002 she was seen in Shop Club as Tina and in the horror film Invisible Eyes as Charlie in a supporting role. This was followed by appearances in the series Boomtown in a double role as twin sisters, CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators as Matilda and in the Miami Vice series Fastlane she can be seen in two episodes as Cassidy .
In the final episode of Columbo's crime series , The Last Party (first aired January 2003), she played the friend of a club owner, played by Matthew Rhys . This was followed by guest appearances in Charmed and LA Dragnet as well as a small role in the film Fish Without a Bicycle (2003).
She was voted 90th among the Hot 100 Women by readers of the US magazine Maxim in 2003 .
The following year she played the beautiful Jane in Never Die Alone by director Ernest R. Dickerson , alongside DMX , who played a leading role. In 2005, she portrayed in the Matrix - and Fight Club - Parody The Helix ... Loaded Lola, the secretary. She was also featured in two episodes of the CSI: Miami television series . This was followed by appearances in the direct-to-video comedy Meet Market (2008) and the drama Somewhere (2010) by Sofia Coppola , where her name was not mentioned in the credits.
