Jesničánky (German Klein Jesnitschan ) is a basic settlement unit of the city of Pardubice in Okres Pardubice in the Czech Republic . It is located two and a half kilometers south of the city center of Pardubice and belongs to the Pardubice V district .

geography

Jesničánky is located between Chrudimka and Jesenčanský potok on the Heřmanoměstecká tabule ( Hermannstädtler Tafel ). State road II / 324 between Pardubice and Chrudim runs through the village . To the west is Pardubice Airport .

Neighboring towns are Skřivánek and Višňovka in the north, Pardubičky in the Northeast, Drozdice and Cerna za Bory in the east, Nemošice and Ostřešany the southeast, Dražkovice and Blato in the South, Stare Jesenčany and Stary Mateřov in the southwest, Nové Jesenčany the west and Svítkov and Dukla in northwest .

history

In the course of the raabization , between 1780 and 1783, north of Jesničany, on the pond site of the drained Jesnitschaner pond, the dominical settlement of Neu-Jesnitschan was created. The settlers were emigrants from Silesia and the County of Glatz who had emigrated to Bohemia before the Prussian yoke. The settlement grew even further north, the houses built on the Pardubice district west of Chrudimer Strasse were called Klein-Jesnitschan .

In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim District village located small Jesnitschan or Mala Gezničan of six houses where 47 people lived. Parish was Pardubice. Until the middle of the 19th century, Klein-Jesnitschan remained subordinate to the Imperial and Royal Chamber of Commerce Pardubice.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Malé Jesenčany / small Jesnitschan 1849 a settlement of the city of Pardubice in the judicial district Pardubice . From 1868 the village belonged to the Pardubice district . A suburban settlement was built east of Chrudimer Strasse since the end of the 19th century. This was later extended to the west side of the street. The settlement has been called Jesničánky since the 1920s . When Velké Pardubice was reorganized in 1949, Jesničánky was assigned to the II district. In 1991, 1919 people lived in Jesničánky. At the 2001 census, Jesničánky consisted of 543 houses and 1820 inhabitants.
