Hilzinger, who graduated from Gertrud-von-le-Fort-Gymnasium in Oberstdorf and is a member of the local ski club, was immediately used in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2015/16 season , although she did not yet have a single countable result in the European Cup . On November 28, 2015, she finished 25th in the Aspen slalom , winning her first World Cup points straight away. Due to an injury, she had to take a break for almost the entire 2015/16 season.
