Jhalari-Pipaladi ( Nepali झलारी-पिपलाडी ) is a city ( municipality ) in the far west of Nepal in the Kanchanpur district .
The city was created on December 2, 2014 by merging the Village Development Committees Jhalari and Pipaladi . The urban area covers 149 km². The urban area extends from the Siwalik chain to the upstream plain of the Terai . Jhalari-Pipaladi is 20 km east of Bhim Datta on the Mahendra Rajmarg highway , which leads to Dhangadhi to the east .
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Jhalari-Pipaladi emerged had 42,026 inhabitants (19,604 of them male) in 8025 households.
