Jimmy Johnsen (born May 30, 1978 ) is a triathlete from Denmark and Ironman winner (2012).

Career

Jimmy Johnsen has been practicing triathlon since 1994 and has been a professional athlete since 2008.

In 2005 he finished second at the European Triathlon Championships in the long distance (4 km swimming, 120 km cycling and 30 km running) and in 2009 he was third.

In December 2012 he won his first Ironman victory in Australia together with Britta Martin from Germany .
