Joachim Wolff (actor)
Joachim Wolff (born July 22, 1920 in Stargard in Pomerania ; † November 30, 2000 ) was a German actor and speaker.
Life
Wolff was trained by the Hamburg theater director and actor Helmuth Gmelin . This was followed by engagements at various stages, including in Hamburg, Bremen and Lübeck. He was also active for radio and worked for the school radio of the NDR . From the 1950s, the man with the hedgehog haircut became popular through numerous film roles, but never got a major lead role. He became known on television in the first German family series Familie Schölermann , in which he played "Uncle Eduard". After that, Wolff was often seen in series such as Der Landarzt , Großstadtrevier , Stahlnetz , The perpetrator on the trail or rivals of the racetrack . But even here he was always in the "second row". Due to his distinctive voice, which he could adjust as desired, he was in great demand as a radio play speaker. Wolff made countless appearances for the Hamburg label Europa and appeared in productions like Die drei ??? , TKKG , the horror series or Pitje Puck . He found his final resting place in the Bernadottestrasse cemetery in Hamburg.
