Johannes Bach (Chief Bailiff)

Johannes Bach (born March 3, 1791 in Nussloch , † after 1849 in Gaggenau ) was a German lawyer and local politician.

Johannes Bach was born in Nussloch in 1791. He completed his law studies in 1812 with a legal exam and then worked as a legal intern in Schwetzingen . In 1815/16 he was employed as an actuary in Wiesloch and from 1816 to 1818 he was the administrator of the official assessor in Brühl . In 1819 he himself became an assessor in Brühl and from 1823 to 1830 an official. In 1830 he moved to the district office of Tauberbischofsheim and was there until 1830 a clerk and board member, comparable to today's district administrator . In 1833 Bach moved again to Achern , where he initially worked as an official director and from 1835 as a senior bailiff. In 1849 he retired.
