Edmund Lang
Edmund Lang (born January 8, 1847 in Buchen , † March 7, 1914 in Neckargemünd ; Catholic) was a lawyer and official member of the Baden state official since 1876 , comparable to today's district administrator .

Edmund Lang was the son of the innkeeper Alois Lang in Buchen and Susanna nee Schmitt. On August 20, 1887, he married Elise Wilhelmina, née Herth (* December 15, 1868 - November 22, 1950), daughter of the postman Herth von Buchen. From this marriage comes the son Alfred (born September 27, 1888).
education
After attending the higher citizen school in Buchen and the Progymnasium in Tauberbischofsheim, he attended the Lyzeum Wertheim , where he passed the Abitur on September 7, 1867 . From the winter semester 1867/88 he studied law at the University of Freiburg , from the winter semester 1868/69 to the winter semester 1869/70 at the University of Heidelberg , in the summer semester 1870 at the University of Munich , in the summer semester 1871 again at the University of Heidelberg and finally in the winter semester 1872/73 at the University of Strasbourg , which only became a German university shortly after the Franco-Prussian War . After the first state examination he underwent in 1874 following stints as a volunteer: Amtsgericht Book, District Court Boxberg , Heidelberg district court, district and Hofgericht Mannheim , District Office Ueberlingen and district office Book .
