Jonas Petter Renkse (born May 19, 1975 ), also known as Lord Seth , is a founding member, songwriter , lead singer (1991–1994, 1997–) and former drummer (1991–1994, 1996–1998) of the band Katatonia . He is also a founding member, songwriter, bassist and ex- guitarist (2004) of the band Bloodbath . He was also the drummer, singer, guitarist and songwriter for the band October Tide .

Career

In 1991 Renkse founded Katatonia with Anders Nyström after the two musicians had been recording demos since 1987/88. In 1995 the band was put on hold and Renkse co-founded October Tide. Around 1997 had Renkse his voice pay tribute, from Internet instead of death metal - Shouting clear vocals. In 1998 he also gave up playing the drums in order to concentrate increasingly on singing. In 2004 he was active in the supergroup Bloodbath . Five years later Renkse appeared as a guest singer on the song "The Nearing Grave" by the German band Long Distance Calling , for which Renkse also wrote the lyrics.
