José Luis Dibildox Martínez

José Luis Dibildox Martínez (born July 20, 1943 in Matehuala , San Luis Potosí state , Mexico , † August 31, 2018 in Tampico ) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tampico .

Life

José Luis Dibildox Martínez received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí on October 27, 1968 .

On December 20, 1993, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tarahumara . The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on January 25, 1994 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Chihuahua , José Fernández Arteaga , and the Archbishop of San Luis Potosí, Arturo Antonio Szymanski Ramírez .

On December 27, 2003, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tampico. On July 20, 2018, Pope Francis accepted the resignation submitted by José Luis Dibildox Martínez for reasons of age.
