José Salcedo

José Salcedo (* 1949 in Ciudad Real ; † September 19, 2017 in Madrid ) was a multi-award-winning Spanish film editor .

Life

Salcedo was best known for his collaboration with Pedro Almodóvar , whose films he was regularly responsible for editing . He has also worked in numerous other productions, including films by Agustín Díaz Yanes , Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón , Pedro Olea , Eloy de la Iglesia and José Luis Borau .

He was awarded the Spanish Goya Film Prize three times for his work .
