Juan de Dios Ibarra (born February 17, 1979 in Los Mochis , Sinaloa ) is a Mexican football player on the position of goalkeeper .

career

Ibarra began his professional career in 1999 with his hometown club CF Monterrey , for which he first came on 10 February 2002 in an away game at Atlético Celaya in the Mexican Primera División . In the 66th minute he replaced the injured the replaced goalkeeper of Rayados , Ricardo Martínez , and helped the 1: 0 lead to defend his team. Ibarra also played the remaining twelve games of the 2002 summer tournament .

Because he was then ousted by Omar Ortiz , Ibarra lost the regular place he had just won and moved to Club América in summer 2005 , where he was only used once and was loaned to their farm team CD Zacatepec in the Clausura 2006 .

After just one season with the Americanistas , Ibarra returned to his hometown club, where he is still under contract and has been part of the first team's squad behind regular goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco since 2010 . In between he played on loan for various second division clubs , such as the Monterrey farm team Rayados 1A .

  1. The Liga MX database (see web links) names the Águilas Riviera Maya team as its club in the Clausura 2006 , which only existed in the Apertura 2005. Her license was transferred from the main club, Club América, to the CD Zacatepec farm team and Ibarra played for the latter club, as can be read, for example, in the club article on the Spanish-language Wikipedia .
