Justin Feser (born July 29, 1992 in Red Deer , Alberta ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with ERC Ingolstadt in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) since the 2020/21 season .

Career

Feser spent the first two years of his career in his hometown in Red Deer before moving to the United States to join the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League (WHL). In the WHL franchise he spent five seasons and led the team on the ice as team captain in the 2012/13 season . After the season in the Western Hockey League was over, he signed a try-out contract with the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League (AHL).

After six games in the American Hockey League, Feser moved to Switzerland to the EHC Olten and played very successfully for four years before moving to Germany to the Krefeld Pinguinen for the 2017/18 season. After only one season in Krefeld , the striker ended up with the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven , for whom he has been lace up his skates since the 2018/19 season . In March 2020, the Bremerhaven-based company announced that Justin Feser would be leaving the club, and it has been known since March 19 that Justin Feser will play at ERC Ingolstadt from the 2020/21 season .
