Jutta Mirtschin

Jutta Mirtschin (born July 8, 1949 in Chemnitz ) is a German artist and book illustrator .

biography

From 1968 to 1969, Mirtschin completed an apprenticeship as a commercial typesetter at Druckhaus Leipzig and also attended the evening academy at the Leipzig University of Graphics and Book Art (graphics, writing). 1969 she studied until 1974 graphics at the Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee and completed then from 1974 to 1976, a postgraduate . Since 1974 she has been working as a freelancer (painting, graphics, illustration, book design, posters, theater).
From 1982 to 1985 she was a master student at the Academy of Arts (Berlin) . From 1997 to 2003 she was teaching illustration at the graphic and design schools in Anklam and Schwerin .
