Juvencio González Álvarez

Juvencio González Álvarez (born February 28, 1917 in Matehuala , San Luis Potosí State , Mexico , † July 18, 1995 ) was Bishop of Ciudad Valles .

Life

Juvencio González Álvarez received on 19 December 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 8, 1980, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ciudad Valles. The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Monterrey , José de Jesús Tirado Pedraza , and the Bishop of Tampico , Arturo Antonio Szymanski Ramírez .

On July 8, 1994, John Paul II accepted Juvencio González Álvarez's resignation because of his age.
