The Königstein is a river cruise ship that was built in 1992 by the Arminius shipyard in Bodenwerder . Thanks to its compact design, the Königstein can also be used on routes that larger ships cannot pass due to water depths , clearance heights and lock dimensions.

history

From 1998 to 2008 the Königstein was a river cruise ship owned by the Peter Deilmann shipping company . Sailing under the German flag, cruises were offered on the Havel , Elbe , Moldau , Oder and on the Bodden . From 2008 to 2014 the ship was in the program of the cruise operator Nicko-Tours. In spring 2014, the Königstein was bought by Favorit Reisen in Heilbronn, which already owns the Rossini .

At BUGA 2015 , the Königstein operated on Havel cruises, which connected the four locations in Havelberg , Rathenow , Premnitz and Brandenburg .

Since 2016, the ship has been used on 8-day cruises from / to Stralsund including visits to Rügen , Hiddensee , Darss and Usedom as well as on 8-day river cruises from Potsdam to Stralsund and in the opposite direction with passages on the Havel, Oder and through the Bodden. As in the previous year, the shipping company also offers 5-day cruises from Potsdam to Havelberg and vice versa. There are also 8-day, combined Elbe, Havel and Elbe-Havel Canal river cruises that start and end in Potsdam . The shore excursions are included in all passages.

Furnishing

The 33 air-conditioned passenger cabins with a total of 70 beds are arranged on the main deck ( Havel deck ) and the upper deck ( Elbe deck ). The upper deck also houses the reception, bar and restaurant. The open deck is equipped with a sun canopy, parasols, seating areas and loungers and is accessible from the upper deck by stairs.
