The first written mention of the place took place in 1585 in connection with the sale of the Brüx manor to Ladislav von Lobkowicz . The place name refers to the location of the village (crossing of two paths) . Presumably an old trade route led to Saxony here . For 1785 there are 15 houses with 90 inhabitants, whose professions are given as day laborers , forest workers and farmers. At the beginning of the 20th century the place developed into a popular destination. The mines built rest homes here, but they later burned down.
