Dăncilă cabinet

The Dăncilă Cabinet was the government of Romania formed by Viorica Dăncilă on January 29, 2018 .

history

The Romanian parliament expressed its confidence in the government under Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă on January 29, 2018. A total of 286 MPs voted for and 136 MPs against the government with one abstention. In addition to the governing parties PSD and ALDE , the UDMR parliamentary group also voted for the Prime Minister.

On October 10, 2019, the government was voted out of parliament by a vote of no confidence. Until a new government takes office, Dăncilă continues to run the business on a provisional basis. On October 15, 2019 , President Klaus Johannis commissioned PNL chairman Ludovic Orban to form a new cabinet .

The cabinet consisted of 28 members, making it the largest cabinet in the European Union.
