Cabinet Ludovic Orban II
The Ludovic Orban II cabinet is the government of Romania formed by Ludovic Orban on March 14, 2020 .
The composition is largely identical to that of the Ludovic Orban I cabinet .
history
On February 5, 2020, the government was voted out of office by a vote of no confidence and dissolved on March 14, 2020. Three weeks after the government was overthrown, President Klaus Iohannis tasked Finance Minister Florin Cîțu with forming a new government. On March 12, 2020, Romanian Prime Minister-designate Florin Cîțu withdrew his candidacy.
Two days later the parliament expressed its confidence in the old and new government under Prime Minister Ludovic Orban in a fast-track process. Parliament approved the new cabinet on March 14, 2020 with 286 votes. There were 23 votes against.
