Kamieniec (German Schöningen ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland , 16 kilometers southwest of Stettin on the border with Germany . It is a part of the municipality Kołbaskowo ( Kolbitzow ) in the powiat Policki .
Manor
Until the end of the Second World War, the Schöningen manor belonged to the Schlange family. The last owner was the politician Hans Schlange-Schöningen , who took over the management of his parents' property after the First World War.
When Schöningen came to Poland after the Second World War, Hans Schlange-Schöningen was expropriated by the Polish state without compensation. The estate was then used by the Polish state, and the mansion was used as the commandant's office for the Polish border troops until 2005.
The retired Lübeck university professor and musicologist Eckhard Maronn acquired the manor house from the Polish state in 2005 at a reasonable price. He would like to use the property for concerts, workshops, readings and seminars, among other things.
