The Canton of Fayence was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Draguignan , in Var department and in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur ; its main place was faience . The last representative in the General Council of the Département was François Cavallier from 2001 to 2015 (first DVD , then UMP ).
The canton of Fayence was 358.96 km² and had (1999) 18,127 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 50 inhabitants per km². It was on average 451 meters above sea level , between 11 meters in Tanneron and 1712 meters in Mons .
