The canton Oppin was an administrative unit in the Halle district of the Saale department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The main town of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was Oppin in today's Saalekreis . The canton comprised 7 municipalities and several hamlets and farms.
