The canton Gerbstedt was an administrative unit in the Halle district of the Saale department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The main town of the canton and seat of the peace court was Gerbstedt in today's district of Mansfeld-Südharz . The canton comprised seven parishes and several hamlets , was inhabited by 4,110 people and had an area of 1.85 square miles . He went u. a. from the Magdeburg-Mansfeld sub-office Friedeburg and the office Gerbstedt .
