The Landkanton Halle was an administrative unit in the Halle district of the Saale department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The main town of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was Büschdorf in today's Halle (Saale) . The canton comprised 11 parishes and several hamlets , was inhabited by 4,254 people and had an area of ​​0.84 square miles . It emerged from part of the hall circle of the Duchy of Magdeburg . Canton notary was Mr. Petermann and the justice of the peace was Mr. Hirsch.
