The canton Seeburg was an administrative unit in the Halle district of the Saale department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia .
The main town of the canton and seat of the peace court was Seeburg in what is now the district of Mansfeld-Südharz . The canton comprised 8 municipalities. It was inhabited by 3,488 people and had an area of 2.04 square miles . It was formed from a part of the Schraplau district ( Amt Seeburg and noble places) and a place of the Mansfeld district of the Magdeburg part of the Mansfeld county .
