Karin Gerber (* 1971 ) is a Swiss triathlete .
Career
Karin Gerber mainly competes in long-distance triathlons. In 2005 she was able to qualify the strong cyclist for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii and her greatest success so far was the second place at the Ironman in Wisconsin in 2008 .
In September 2011 she became Duathlon World Champion in Zofingen in the age group 40-44 on the long distance (first run 10 km, bike distance 150 km and second run 30 km).
Karin Gerber works full-time in an architecture office. She lives in Bern and starts for the Triathlon Bern association .
