Hillary Biscay (born June 13, 1978 in Palos Verdes Estates ) is an American triathlete . She is Ironman Champion (2008) and Ultraman World Champion (2013).

Career

Hillary Biscay was a swimmer in her youth and in 2001 she started the Ironman distance for the first time in Florida. In 2006 she was the first athlete to place in the top five six times at the Ironman distance. Hillary Biscay was trained by the Australian Brett Sutton .

Ironman Wisconsin 2008 winner

In her 32nd race over the long distance triathlon ( Ironman ), Biscay was able to achieve her first gold medal in Wisconsin in 2008 - just one week after finishing fourth in Kentucky.

Ultraman World Champion 2013

In October 2013 she won the Ultraman Hawaii (10 km swim, 421 km bike and 84 km run), after finishing second here in 2010.

Personal

Hillary Biscay is married to the German triathlete Maik Twelsiek and they both live in Tucson .
