Karin Pagmár

Karin Pagmár (born April 29, 1956 near Stockholm ) is a Swedish singer and actress .

Career

Pagmár completed his training at the State Drama School in Malmö and classical singing training at the Northwest German Music Academy in Detmold . Karin Pagmar has been involved in concerts , musicals and operettas on the Stockholm stages .

From Stockholm she made her way to Vienna , where her international career began, and from there to the Vienna Chamber Opera , the Baden City Theaters, Schlosstheater Schönbrunn , Bregenz, Bayreuth and the Dresden State Operetta . She performed with the Orchester Philharmonique de Strasbourg , with the symphony orchestras of the WDR and NDR .

Her vocal range of 4 octaves allows her interpretations from contra-alto to soprano . Pagmar's interpretations of the Zarah Leander Chansons were in the Theater an der Kö in Düsseldorf , in the Schmidts Tivoli in Hamburg , in the Komödie in Frankfurt am Main , in the GOP in Hanover , at the Operettenball in Dresden and on tour with Gunther Emmerlich in the revue The Legs of Hear Dolores .

She also has an interpretation of the american songbook with compositions by Gershwin , Porter , Arlen and Kern in her repertoire.
