Karl von Schwerin

Karl Graf von Schwerin (born January 9, 1844 in Schwerinsburg , † February 16, 1901 in Nassau ) was a German administrative officer and farmer .

Life

Karl von Schwerin studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1862 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. As a government assessor in the government in Magdeburg , he became the 1873 District Administrator of the district Schlawe appointed. In 1877 he moved to the Oberlahnkreis as district administrator , where he held the office until the end of 1888. In the Reichstag election in 1878 he ran as a conservative candidate in the Reichstag constituency of Wiesbaden 4 district , but was unable to prevail against the mandate holder Hubert Arnold Hilf with 35.1% . Then he was district administrator of the district of Anklam until August 1889 . Most recently he lived as a leaseholder in Schwerinsburg.
