Kaspar von Seckendorff
Kaspar von Seckendorff († 1595 ) was bishop of the Eichstätt diocese and prince-bishop of the Eichstätt monastery from 1590 to 1595.
origin
Kaspar came from the Frankish noble family von Seckendorff . The name-giving place is Seckendorf near Cadolzburg in Franconia .
At the end of his career as bishop Kaspar was assisted by his later successor Johann Konrad von Gemmingen as coadjutor from 1593 .
Epitaph and coat of arms
In Eichstätt Cathedral there are two monuments that remind him a Epitaphaltar the Prince Bishop and the grave disk.
