Kateřina Vaňková (born December 30, 1989 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech tennis player .

Career

Vaňková, who prefers hard courts , started playing tennis at the age of seven. She mainly competes in tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has already won 15 singles and 14 doubles titles.

In August 2014 she reached the second round of qualifying for the US Open , in which she was defeated by the Chinese Wang Qiang .

In the German Bundesliga she played for TC Weiß-Blau Würzburg in 2006 , in 2009 for TC Blau-Weiß Ludwigshafen, in 2010 for TC Rot-Weiß Wahlstedt and again in 2014 for Ludwigshafen (all of them second division).
