Kathleen Garrett (* before 1982 ) is an American film and stage actress , voice actress and author .

Life

Garrett has appeared in various films since 1982, including For Lovers Only (1982), Trace of Fear (1986), Mrs. Lambert's Last Journey (1991), In the Heart of Lies (1992), Power Cop (1993) and Copshop (2004) belong. In the television series The New WKRP in Cincinnati , she was seen from 1991 to 1993 as Dana Burns. In the Star Trek franchise she played a Vulcan officer in 1993 in the episode Der Steinwandler in the series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and in 2000 the Tanis in the episode The Muse in the series Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager . She appeared in several other series, such as Sandra Lockhart in the miniseries Skin (2003-2005) and as judge Susan Moretti in Law & Order (2008-2010).

As a stage actress she starred in William Luce's Zelda, the Last Flapper at the Tiffany Theaters in Los Angeles in 1992 . In 1998, for her work in Jean Cocteau's Indiscretions, she received the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Actress, the Garland Award in the "Outstanding Performance" category, the Robbie Award for best supporting actress and an Ovation nomination in the "Best Performance" category . She starred as Mrs. Alving in Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts and as The Countess in Jean Anouilh's Ardele . For the latter role she won a Drama Logue Critics Award in the “Outstanding Performance” category. She was also honored with a Clio Award in the category “Outstanding Performance of an Actor in a Commercial”.

As a voice actress in English, she was active in an episode of the series Celebrity Deathmatch (2001), the film Friday the 13th (2009) and the video game Dead Rising 3 (2013). In the television film Final Days of an Icon (2008) and the series Solved (2008–2009) and Miracles (2010) she was heard as a narrator.

In 2016 she published her two-part short story The 'Figgers': The Day a 12 Year-Old Foiled the FBI on Zocalo Public Square.
