Katja Lechthaler

Katja Lechthaler (* 1971 in Munich ) is a German-Italian actress , author and communications coach.

Life

Lechthaler initially worked as a journalist for a youth magazine, before studying German , pedagogy and theater studies from 1990 to 1995 , while also completing a postgraduate course as a play and theater pedagogue. During this time she began to illustrate books for various publishers and after completing her studies worked for two years as a project manager in an advertising agency. In 2005 her book All Children Like To Play Theater was published , in which she summarized her experiences as a theater teacher. In this capacity she also held guest lectureships at universities and played in Munich's off-stage theater.

In 2002 Lechthaler went to Rome and took acting lessons at the Studio de Fazio until 2005 . To this day, several further training courses followed, such as voice and other acting training (e.g. the chubbuck technique ). Lechthaler played more often at the Garmischer Kultursommer, she had other guest appearances in Munich at the TamS , at the City Theater Bozen and at the Zimmertheater Tübingen , where she appeared on stage as Liesl Karlstadt in the play Heiteres Tun .

Since 2007, Lechthaler has also been featured frequently on television and can mainly be seen as a guest actress in well-known series, including in 2008 in the Polizeiruf-110 episode Rosis Baby, which has received numerous awards .

Lechthaler, who speaks fluent Italian and English in addition to German and speaks the South Tyrolean dialect, continues to give face-to-face and communication training using the MyCharisma method she and Carlo Magaletti developed . She lives in Munich.
