Kelli Williams

Kelli Williams (born June 8, 1970 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress and director .

Life

Williams was featured in several diaper commercials as a toddler. She attended the Lycée Français elementary school in Los Angeles and then graduated from Beverly Hills High School , which she graduated in 1988. An acting agent saw her in a school play of Romeo and Juliet and signed her. She was married to the author Ajay Sahgal from 1996 to 2017 . She has three children with him.

Career

She began her career in 1989 as the friend of Christopher Daniel Barnes in the sitcom Day by Day on NBC . She became known for her role as Lindsay Dole in the television series Practice - The Lawyers and as Dr. Natalie Durant in the TV series Medical Investigation . In the series Men in Trees she was seen as Julia. She appeared in the first season of the sitcom Scrubs in a supporting role as a student Kristen Murphy . From 2009 to 2011 she played Dr. Gillian Foster in the series Lie to Me , from 2012 to 2013 Jackie Clarke in Army Wives .

Sporadically she is also the director of series episodes, such as Practice - Die Anwälte in 2004 , Army Wives in 2013 and The Fosters in 2016 .
