Kerperscheid is a southern district of Schleiden in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Euskirchen . The place is in the middle of the Schleiden forest. The Scheidebach flows north of Kerperscheid. Kerperscheid has a church. About 90 people live in the village.

history

Kerperscheid has belonged to the Schleiden property of the noblemen for centuries. It was first mentioned in 1464 together with the neighboring Broich and Wintzen .

Until the reorganization of the communities and districts of the reorganization area Aachen, which came into effect on January 1, 1972, Kerperscheid belonged to the community of Hellenthal .
