Bronsfeld , on the edge of the Dreiborn plateau, is a district in the south-west of Schleiden in the Euskirchen district of North Rhine-Westphalia . A little over 560 people live in Bronsfeld. The place has a ball field, playground and civic meeting place, a Catholic chapel and a fire station of the delete course IV Harperscheid / Bronsfeld the volunteer fire department . To the north of the village is the former Weiermühle am Dieffenbach campsite .
history
On October 19, 1322, Bronsfeld was first mentioned as “Pruntzvelt” together with Harperscheid and Schöneseiffen .
Due to § 9 of the Aachen law , Bronsfeld was incorporated into the new town of Schleiden on January 1, 1972. Until then, the place with 314 souls was an independent municipality in the district of Harperscheid.
