Kevin Rudolf (born February 17, 1983 in Manhattan , New York ) is an American pop rock singer and rapper .

Life

Rudolf grew up with his single mother, who introduced him to music at an early age. He started playing guitar at the age of eleven.

His debut album In the City was released on November 24, 2008 in the USA and contains, among other things, the single Let It Rock , on which Lil Wayne also stars. Let It Rock reached number 5 on the US Hot Billboard Charts, number 5 on the UK Singles Charts, number 3 on the Australian ARIA Charts and number 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 and number 10 on the German single charts. The title was as the theme song of the World Wrestling Entertainment discharged Royal Rumble played in 2009. He also contributes the theme song to WrestleMania 26, this is the single I Made It . In addition, his song In the City is the opening music for Wall Street: Money never sleeps .

Rudolf worked with Justin Timberlake , Nelly Furtado and Lil Wayne and currently lives in Miami .
