Kim Kee-hee ( kor. 김기희 ; born July 13, 1989 in Busan ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Kim Kee-hee learned to play football on the school team at Bukyeong High School and on the university team at Hongik University. He signed his first contract with Daegu FC in 2011 . The club from Daegu played in the first division, the K League 1 . From September 2012 to June 2013 he was loaned to al-Sailiya , a club from Qatar . The Doha club played in the Qatar Stars League . In mid-2013 he switched to league competitor Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in Jeonju . He celebrated the championship with the club in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 he left South Korea and moved to China . The first division club Shanghai Shenhua from Kangqiao , a suburb of Shanghai , signed him until February 2018. In 2017 he became a Chinese Cup winner with the club . After the contract term ended, he moved to the United States in February 2018 . Here he signed a contract in Seattle with the Seattle Sounders . With the club, which played in Major League Soccer , he won the MLS Cup in 2019 .

National team

From 2011 to 2012 Kim Kee-hee played in the U-23 national team . His greatest achievement was winning the bronze medal at the Summer Olympics in London .

Since 2012 he has played 23 games for the South Korean national soccer team . He made his international debut on November 14, 2012 in a friendly against Australia at the Hwaseong Stadium in Hwaseong .
