biography

Křížová denied her first FIS race in December 2004 . At first she started exclusively in races in North America, where she won her first FIS slalom on February 4, 2005. She contested her first race on European soil at the Junior World Championship in Bardonecchia in 2005 , where she was only able to classify in the lower midfield. After that, it started again exclusively in America until December 2006. She drove her first race in the Nor-Am Cup on March 17, 2005. In this descent from Le Massif , she came in 22nd. In the World Cup , she started for the first time in the speed races in Lake Louise in early December 2005 . In each of the two downhill runs, she finished last and in the Super-G, fourth from last, 52nd place. In the 2005/06 season, the 13th place in the first Downhill of Lake Louise was her best result in the Nor-Am Cup and she was among the fastest 30 in the Downhill and Super-G at the Junior World Championships in 2006 .

Křížová contested her next World Cup races again in Lake Louise at the beginning of December 2006, but again this time she was only able to classify in the Super-G and in the downhill run in the last and third from last place. A few days later she finished second behind Canada's Britt Janyk in the Nor-Am-Cup downhill in Lake Louise . On January 13, 2007, she contested her next World Cup race in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee , but came back only to last place. Three days later she drove her first European Cup race and on February 15th she finished 25th in the Super-G of Sella Nevea for the first time in the European Cup. At the Junior World Championship in March 2007, 18th place in the Super-G was her best result.

In the 2007/08 season, the Czech finished fourth and fifth in the two Nor-Am Cup downhill runs in Lake Louise, which brought her to fifth place in the overall downhill classification. In the European Cup, she finished in the top 20 seven times, with her best results being sixth in the Super-G at Caspoggio and seventh in the Super-G at Davos . She couldn't finish her only World Cup race of the season, the Super-G of Lake Louise. At the end of winter she won the Super-G and the Super Combined at the Czech Championships in Špindlerův Mlýn . In the 2008/09 season Křížová played a total of seven World Cup races. However, she was only able to rank among the last five and stayed far away from the points. In the European Cup, her best result of the season was 14th place in the Super-G in St. Moritz , in the Nor-Am Cup she did not start this winter. In February 2009 Křížová took part in the World Championships in Val-d'Isère . She started in the Super-G and in the Super Combined, where she was 25th each, and as the only Czech also in the downhill, which she finished in 29th place. Four weeks later, she reached eighth place in the Super-G and ninth in the downhill at the 2009 Junior World Championships .

In the 2009/10 season , Křížová initially only achieved 50th place in the World Cup, as in previous years, until she surprisingly finished 20th on January 30, 2010 in the downhill run from St. Moritz and was first and so far only Times won world cup points. She was the first Czech woman since Ludmilla Milanová in the 1991/92 season to win World Cup points in the downhill. In February Křížová started at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver . She reached 29th place in the Super-G, but was only 37th and last in the downhill after a fall. In the European Cup, seventh place in the first downhill from Tarvisio on March 9, 2010 was her best result of the season. In the 2010/11 season Křížová came in their four World Cup races not beyond the penultimate place. In the European Cup, however, she achieved her best result to date with fourth place in the second downhill from Sochi . At the 2011 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , she achieved results that were very similar to those of her debut two years earlier. As the best Czech in each case, she finished 24th in the super combination and 28th in the downhill, but was eliminated in the super-G.

In winter 2011/2012 Křížová just missed another point win in the World Cup when she was 31st in the super combination of St. Moritz. In the European Cup she drove in two descents in the 2011/2012 season under the top ten, making her seventh in the downhill classification and thus for the first time a top 10 placement in a European Cup discipline. On December 13, 2012, she achieved her first podium in the European Cup when she finished third in the downhill run from St. Moritz.
